Prince Was 20 Years Off With Unreleased Song COVID-1999

A search of Prince’s fabled vault has revealed that the prolific songwriter predicted COVID-19 around the time he wrote 1999. The song titled COVID-1999 was scrapped in favor of 1999 which would become one of his most popular recordings. COVID-1999 had the same music but some lyrics were changed.

“Mommy, why does everybody wear a mask?”

“They say the year two thousand twenty party gone like grains of sand. So tonight I’m gonna party with D-Nice on Instagram”.

It’s almost like Prince had a time machine. The diminutive icon even donned a face covering. He decided not to release the song because he was dreaming when he wrote it. Some of t he lyrics made little since to him and he had no idea what Instagram was.
